Bladehub Mail-In Sharpening Kit is a reusable protective mailing kit for sending professional shears and clipper blades to Bladehub for sharpening by mail. The kit includes a cardboard mailer with protective foam inserts to help keep tools safer during shipping. Sharpening service fees are billed separately after tools are received and inspected. Ideal for groomers, stylists, and barbers who want a simple repeat mail-in sharpening process.

Your first order gets the system started. Completed orders reload the system for next time with a fresh empty kit and a new prepaid return label.
The kit gets you into the Bladehub system. Sharpening is billed after service at the applicable rate for your order.
Clipper blades are priced separately and do not count toward shear tiers.
This is the part for the fine print: minimums, billing, shipping, label rules, and how the own-box option works.
Customers must choose the kit that matches the quantity being sent. Small kits are not for high-volume shipments, and large kits are not for low-count one-off orders.
Purchasing a Bladehub Mail-In Kit does not lock in future sharpening, repair, shipping, or policy rates.
Orders are billed at the rates and terms in effect when the order is received and processed by Bladehub.
Bladehub verifies tool count and order contents upon receipt. If actual contents differ from the selected kit or submitted quantity, billing may be adjusted accordingly.
After your tools arrive, Bladehub inspects and counts every item, performs the sharpening service, and applies any necessary repair tier fees or parts only when required.
No unnecessary repairs are performed. If something unusual requires direct communication, Bladehub will reach out before proceeding when appropriate.
Once the order is complete, you receive a secure checkout link for payment. Completed orders are shipped back after payment is received.
For normal professional turnaround, minor repair work may be completed automatically when needed to return a tool to proper working condition.
If something unusual, major, or outside normal repair tiers is found, Bladehub may contact you before proceeding.
Yes. Bladehub may send updates when your shipment arrives, when your order is complete and ready for payment, and when your return shipment is on the way with tracking.
Bladehub services most professional grooming, salon, and barber shears. If a tool is unusually worn, damaged, risky, or outside normal service scope, Bladehub may contact you before proceeding or return the item unserviced.
Bladehub Mail-In Kits are designed for routine maintenance and repeat sharpening, not bulk clean-outs or oversized shipments.
Each kit has practical size and weight limits. Do not overfill the box or treat it like a general-purpose shipping carton for everything you own.
Please do not include unnecessary items such as clipper bodies, cords, chargers, large accessories, scissor cases, or extra packaging materials unless Bladehub specifically instructs you to do so.
The foam insert is the protection system. Arrange your shears or tools directly in the foam and secure the lid. The foam compression is designed to hold the tools in place and protect them during transit, so extra cases and bulky padding are usually not needed.
If a shipment is overfilled, overweight, mismatched to the selected kit, or packed with unnecessary items, Bladehub may adjust billing, limit what is serviced in that shipment, require a different kit, or contact you before proceeding.
If a kit is lost or damaged before use, contact Bladehub. Replacement packaging may be available, but shipping charges to send a replacement kit may apply.
Repeat-system benefits only continue when the Bladehub kit system is actively used and maintained.
Each Bladehub prepaid return label is valid for 90 days from the date it is created.
If your label expires before you use it, Bladehub may reissue one replacement label at no charge as a courtesy.
If more than 6 months pass between orders, a new mail-in kit must be purchased to re-enter the Bladehub kit system.
Bladehub does not provide shipping insurance. Any included or purchased carrier coverage is subject solely to the carrier’s terms, limits, and claims process. Carrier coverage, if any, is not Bladehub insurance.
Once shipped, transit times, delays, damage, and delivery issues are subject to the carrier.
Turnaround times are estimates, not guarantees. Timing may vary based on order volume, repairs needed, shipping delays, holidays, or other factors outside Bladehub’s control.
Bladehub is not responsible for pre-existing damage, hidden defects, severe wear, rust, prior poor repairs, or tool conditions that limit the final result.
We strongly recommend the Bladehub Mail-In Kit for the easiest long-term experience. But if you already have packaging and want to send your own box, here is the fallback option.
Send Your Own Box has no minimum. If you send your own packaging, you may send as little as 1 shear.
